Intro to Alternative Fuels Workshop--Learn about Electric Vehicles & More!

Ecology Action, Plug In America and the Monterey Bay Electric Vehicle Alliance will be hosting a free workshop for Santa Cruz County residents interested in learning more about electric vehicles and other types of alternative fuel options.

Whether you are in the market to purchase or lease a new car or a recent owner of an alternative fuel vehicle, this workshop will provide you with all you need to know about driving cleaner. Topics to be covered include:
* Rebates and incentives
* Types of alternative fuel vehicles
* Available vehicles on the market today
* Operating characteristics
* Vehicle comparisons

Additional Workshop details include:
*Participants are welcome to drop-in anytime between 11am and 2pm where they will be able to talk with local experts, local dealers, and local owners who will be representing the most popular alternative fuels on the market today including electric vehicles, fuel cell, biodiesel and ethanol.
* A brief overview presentation will be provided from 12:15-12:35pm
* Participants will have a chance to ask questions and collect informational handouts and packets.
* Test drives will be provided for those interested in driving an electric vehicle!
