Jazz for Freedom Concert Series - Jack Bowers & Friends

Join Santa Cruz Barrios Unidos in welcoming Jack Bowers and Friends to the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History (MAH)!

In partnership with the MAH's Kinsey Exhibition - the largest private collection of African-American art and artifacts - the focus of this event is to bring awareness regarding the issue of mass incarceration in our criminal justice system. Attendees can find out more information about policies and issues related to the correctional system.

Additionally, take a tour of the Barrios Unidos Prison Project's Interactive Replica Prison Cell, where individuals can have a sensory experience of what life might be like in prison.
