Pride Comedy Night

The producer of San Francisco’s acclaimed annual Kung Pao Kosher Comedy™ (Jewish comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant) and numerous other Bay Area comedy shows presents Pride Comedy Night, a 2-night, 2-city LGBT comedy fest at Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz on Saturday, June 22 and Freight & Salvage in Berkeley on Sunday, June 23.

Comedy producer/comedian, Lisa Geduldig, and friends return to the intimate 200-seat Kuumbwa Jazz Center after a 7-year hiatus.

Pride Comedy Night will feature a very funny, diverse, eclectic array of Bay Area, LA, and Santa Cruz-based LGBT comedians who span a few generations of comedy and have been performing for between 10 and 30 years.

This multicultural line up consists of Marga Gomez (GLAAD Award winner and was named “Best Bay Area Comedian” by the SF Weekly, Bay Area Reporter and The SF Bay Guardian; the author/performer of 12 solo plays, which have been presented Off-Broadway, nationally and internationally), Sampson McCormick (BET, VICELAND, TV One), Kim Luke (the host/MC/official voice for countless events and organizations including Santa Cruz Pride for the past 7 years, the Santa Cruz Derby Girls, and the Santa Cruz Warriors), and Lisa Geduldig (Your hostess with the mostess).
