Qing Ming Festival and Work Party

Make your mark and restore local Chinese history. Join the Evergreen Restoration Committee in a work party to celebrate the Chinese cultural holiday of Qing Ming.

Qing Ming is about honoring the departed spirits of your family members. This is traditionally celebrated by cleaning their grave sites and making an offering. The MAH’s Evergreen Cemetery Restoration Committee has been working for years to restore this historic site. This work includes the addition 2 years ago of the Chinese Memorial Gate to the Chinese migrants who are buried in the Cemetery.
