Researcher’s Anonymous: East Morrissey Neighborhood Field Trip

What: History walk around the East Morrissey neighborhood of Santa Cruz
Where: Meet at the southeast corner of Melrose Avenue and Morrissey Boulevard, Santa Cruz.

Come see the former home of Josephine McCrackin, journalist, environmentalist, and “Savior of the Redwoods.” Hear her story and that of other important residents in the East Morrissey neighborhood. Learn about the history of this Eastside neighborhood from its founding to the present day. This walk will feature Pacheco Avenue andMorrissey Boulevard. The tour will take approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours and we will cover about 1 mile on foot. If you have any questions please contact Dan Model [email protected].
