About Santa Cruz Jewish Film Festival

The Santa Cruz Jewish Film Festival returns to the Del Mar Theatre with two short films, Q & A with a producer, and a feature documentary. Near Normal Man tells the story of Ben Stein, who survived three concentration camps before immigrating to the U.S. Thirty years later he leads a fight to stop American Nazis from marching in his hometown of Skokie, Illinois.
At 6:30 pm On My Way Out tells the story of Roman and Ruth Blank, a seemingly happy couple in a 60-year marriage who reveal a long held secret. The film's producer and granddaughter of the couple, Lili Gross, will be on hand for Q & A.
At 7:45 pm Monkey Business: The Adventures of Curious George's Creators tells the extraordinary story of Hans and Margaret Rey, creators of the world's most famous cartoon monkey.
Admission to all films is free, donations appreciated.These screenings are in the Grand Auditorium so no one will be turned away.
