About Tilopa's Six Words of Advice

Tilopa’s 6 Words of Advice to Naropa with Lama Lena

Tilopa gave his most important student, Naropa, a teaching called the Six Words of Advice. In Tibetan, the teaching is called gnad kyi gzer drug – literally, “six nails of key points”. This concise meditation instruction can be applied whether you’re a beginning meditator or you’ve been at your practice for decades. Deceptively simple on the surface, the profound depths of this instruction could be explored for the rest of your life.
Lama Lena (Yeshe Kaytup), with over 40 years of dharma study and practice under the tutelage of her root teacher, Venerable Wangdor Rinpoche, spent seven years in retreat in a small cave above Tso Pema – home of the Holy Caves of Guru Rinpoche in India. She is known to many as a teacher of Direct Mind Perception Meditation.
She travels and teaches to those at all levels of dharma practice.
