Tulku Orgyen Phuntsok Rinpoche and the Odiyana Insititute will introduce you to the experiences described in the Tibetan Book of the Dead (Liberation through Hearing). These traditional Buddhist treasure teachings prepare one for making the most of these transient opportunities and recognize the true nature of mind encountered in the bardo, the intermediate state between death and rebirth.

Tulku Orgyen was born in the Hidden Land of Pemakod, a sacred place well known to Himalayan Buddhists. The spiritual power and history of Pemakod is similar to that of the land of Odiyana. When Tulku Orgyen was one year old, H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche recognized him as the rebirth of a great master. As the regent of Padmasambhava, Dudjom Rinpoche gave Togden’s young incarnation the name Orgyen P’huntsok (Excellence of Odiyana).
