About Assembly Kicks Off Beer Week

The brewery that ignited the Santa Cruz craft beer explosion, Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing, takes over the taps at Assembly to kick off Beer Week from Santa Cruz Waves.

One day only Assembly and Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing join forces with an evening of special food and beers. Happy Hour starts at 3pm and The Naked Bootleggers come on at 4pm to get the party started early.

We’re pulling out all the stops with a special menu including:

• Pork Chop in beer brine with brussels sprouts, smashed potatoes and stout gravy
• Halibut tartare with cucumber, basil, lime and chiles
• Beer batter fried summer squash with pickled beets and ginger
• Pan fried Monterey Bay Squid with sausage, bread crumbs and green olive relish
• Beer Steamed Mussels and Togarashi spiced fries
• Sheep milk ricotta gnudi with Charentais melon, prosciutto and arugula

Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing brings a selection of favorites and seasonal specials. Founder Emily Thomas and Head Brewer Tommy Mills will be on hand to raise a pint and answer your questions about the meaning of life (and all things beer).
