About Naturalist Night at the Museum: California's Coast with Kim Steinhardt

Join environmental writer and marine wildlife photographer Kim Steinhardt for an inspiring, photographic journey into California’s coastal past, present and probable future on Thursday, March 21, 7-8:30 p.m. Part art, part science, part law, this unique evening adventure will explore the sometimes complex relationship between humans and nature, with insights on everything from the latest challenges faced by the threatened southern sea otter to the timely issues covered in his recent book, “The Edge: The Pressured Past and Precarious Future of California’s Coast,” co-authored by local ocean expert and UCSC’s Distinguished Professor of Earth Sciences Gary Griggs.

This talk will begin at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Space is limited, so register to save your seat: https://www.santacruzmuseum.org/public-programs/naturalist-night-series/
