About Naturalist Night: Coastal Conservation Through Citizen Science and Photography

Join the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History on Thursday, June 13, to explore current research on the threatened western snowy plover through an engaging, evening science lecture. Biologist Carleton Eyster from Point Blue Conservation Science will guide the audience through recent findings and conservation efforts surrounding these secretive shorebirds, providing insight into their fascinating lives, the challenges they face and how we can all aid in their recovery. One conservation tool is photography, as local wildlife photographer Jacqueline Deely will share.
