Pathways to Drawing Landscapes: a workshop with artist Ann Thiermann

Join local artist Ann Thiermann for a guided drawing workshop to creating beautiful landscapes inspired by the exhibit "Pathways Through Our Parks." Learn how to get a viewer into the scene via the pathway using pastels and take home your very own beautiful landscape. Watch the artist demonstrate basic landscape design concepts of line, color and atmospheric perspective as she sketches from her own paintings on display.

Participants will be encouraged to use the exhibit paintings as the foundation for their own composition. No experience is necessary! As you work, the artist will guide you through the process and help you build a composition to be proud of.

All materials and light refreshments will be provided.
