Saturday Open House at Gateway School

Walk through Gateway School’s classrooms, meet our talented faculty, hear from the specialist teachers and Head of School, be treated to a musical performance, and get to know our student docents who will share their Gateway experience.

Gateway School is a CAIS-accredited independent K-8 school that allows children to explore their unlimited potential through strong academics and a safe, nurturing environment. Students develop creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills through advanced technology instruction, specialist classes, and mindfulness training. Gateway has long been a leader in innovative learning techniques – it was the first school in Santa Cruz to establish a Life Lab, the first to build a Maker’s Space, and the first to institute a mindfulness program. During their time at Gateway School, students learn how to become responsible, engaged, and compassionate citizens.
