SC Warriors and Monterey Bay Foundation Team Up for Beach Cleanup

Please join us next Thursday, March 17th, from 1:00-3:00 pm as the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Foundation partners with the Santa Cruz Warriors Basketball organization and the Dream Inn Santa Cruz Hotel to help clean and protect our beautiful sanctuary! We plan to do a "deep clean" of Main/Cowell's Beaches in Santa Cruz. The Dream Inn Hotel will provide free food and drinks for participants following the cleanup. RSVP at the link and sign in at the wharf entrance to Main Beach to pick up cleaning equipment and register for the happy hour.

The entire roster of SeaDubs players will participate, as well as Foundation board members: Co-Chairperson and former Santa Cruz City Mayor, Hilary Bryant; Foundation Treasurer, former California State Assemblyman and co-author of the Marine Life Protection Act, Fred Keeley; Foundation Secretary and former Executive Director of O’Neill Sea Odyssey, Dan Haifley; Trustee and former Santa Cruz City Mayor, Martine Watkins; and Trustee and former Capitola City Mayor, Yvette Lopez-Brooks.
