Sketching through the Seasons at Schwan Lake

Connect with nature through art! Spend the morning hiking and sketching in beautiful Santa Cruz. We’ll journey to one of our favorite open spaces – Schwan Lake - to observe light, perspective, pattern, and life within the natural landscape of Twin Lakes State Beach.

This nature sketching workshop is open to ages 8 and up. Participants must be comfortable hiking outdoors and sitting down on the ground to sketch. We will walk up to 2 miles round-trip on uneven trails that may be steep in places.
