Every Thursday evening at 5:30pm during late spring and summer, paddlers and kayakers converge at Kayak Connection for a two-hour social paddle. The informal outing allows paddlers to hone their skills and meet other like-minded folk. It's not a class—some experience is recommended—but inexperienced kayakers are welcome to come along and get comfortable in the harbor. Free to those with their own kayaks; otherwise $18 for rental.

Every Friday morning at 8am in good weather, Kayak Connection hosts a Stand-Up Paddling social paddle—the perfect opportunity to get your stand-up sea legs under you, practice your skills and get to know other SUP surfers. The two-hour session is open to all. Free to those with their own boards; $18 to rent.
