23rd Strike Out Against Cancer Bowl-a-thon

You have the power to help women living with cancer in our community!

For over 25 years WomenCARE has been providing free services to women diagnosed with cancer. Join us for our biggest fundraiser of the year, Strike Out Against Cancer, and enjoy a fun-filled bowling event and a chance to make a BIG difference for people in need. Together, we can make this year’s event our most successful yet!

Mark your calendar for the 23rd Annual Strike Out Against Cancer Bowling Benefit:
* Saturday October 26th
* 3 Sessions starting at 1:00pm
* Santa Cruz Boardwalk Bowl: 115 Cliff St. Santa Cruz

Get involved:
* Form a bowling team to participate at the event, or a virtual team if you are unable to attend.
* Make a gift to support a specific bowling team or bowler.
* Make a general donation to the event and help us surpass last year’s total.

Be part of a team:
* Form one or more teams with up to five people per team – friends, co-workers, family members, kids, etc.
* Register your team online at StrikeOutAgainstCancer.org, by phone at 831-457-2273, or by email at [email protected].
* Receive your registration packet complete with pledge forms and fun fundraising tips. You will be able to access this information online or contact us if you would like to receive a hard copy in the mail.
* Collect pledges and gather your tax-deductible donations. We ask each team to raise a minimum of $500. Your supporters will be able to make their pledges for you or your team on our website at StrikeOutAgainstCancer.org. Bring check and cash donations to the event and they will be added to our online pledges. Whether donations are small or large, every dollar makes a difference!
* For in-person teams, get ready to have fun bowling one game during your assigned session. This is a great time to debut your Halloween costume and have an opportunity to win fantastic raffle prizes!

WomenCARE provides cancer advocacy, resources, education, and support to women, their families and friends, and healthcare practitioners at each stage of the journey: diagnosis, healing, surviving, or dying. 100% of the proceeds raised from the Strike Out Against Cancer Bowling Benefit go directly to serving women diagnosed with any type of cancer, and to their loved ones. All of WomenCARE’s services are completely free.
